About

I was living in Korea and pursuing my dream to be a good comic artist with passion.
These years still hold some of my fondest memories.
When I worked at Korean, I was always confidence in my skills and team spirit.
It seems to be arrogant a bit, but it was good for me to do challenge. As a result of the confidence,
for three years working in Korea, I made some achievements like working as an art director
and won the Grand prize at Donga LG International animation competition.
However I was always hunger at work, felt empty, miss something, wanted to do more and more.
That’s why I moved out to Canada in 2001. Canada was my second challenge.

In 2001, I came to Canada.
Canada was tough for the first time because of English and the culture shock. Only what I can do
in order to overcome the obstacles was to do hard work. It’s always shame to mention about myself,
but it will be good reference for you to know how I was hard work at work. One of prize is that one of art (In the rain)
was Selection of Into the Pixel in 2007. Into the Pixel picked my art, In the rain,
because it inspired the jurors in the way I anticipated.
Actually I made this drawing in dedication of the team members that put in
all their hard work in developing the game at the end of 2006.
The selection were exhibited at Game expo in LA and Toronto International Film Festival in 2007
as well as at the well known newspaper USA Today.
And the next was Nominee for Official THQ 2007 Personal Achievement Award.
At the last I was invited as the host of seminar at Seoul animation center in Korea
and media started to know who I am since 2007.
